Jak uruchomić klienta MySQL

Używam ubuntu z pulpitem Xubuntu i zainstalowałem serwer mysql i klient mysql za pomocą terminala.

sudo apt-get install mysql-client

A teraz nie wiem, jak mogę uruchomić klienta mysql i gdzie klient został zainstalowany.

Aby sprawdzić zainstalowaną wersję MySQL, otwórz terminal i wpisz:

mysql -V

Mój to wersja 5.7.18

mysql  Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.18, for Linux (x86_64) using  EditLine wrapper

Aby korzystać z MySQL

Wpisz mysql -u username -pNastępnie podaj hasło ustawione podczas instalacji. Nazwa użytkownika to zazwyczaj root. Następnie zacznij pisać polecenia SQL.
