Próbuję zainstalować Ruby na Ubuntu 12. Jedno z poleceń powoduje błąd

Nawet tak zrobiłem
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install pkgconfig
ale to nie pomogło.
Jak zainstalować pkgconfig?
