Zresetowanie adresu IP powoduje wyświetlenie komunikatu o błędzie „media odłączony”

Korzystam z laptopa z systemem Windows 8 i pomyślnie nawiązałem połączenie z routerem i mogę bez problemu uzyskać dostęp do Internetu. Chcę uzyskać nowy adres IP. Otworzyłem wiersz polecenia i wpisałem

ipconfig /renew

i dał mi komunikat o błędzie
