Lepiej byłoby znormalizować to do innej przestrzeni kolorów. Przestrzeń kolorów LAB, na przykład z wartościami L, A, B znormalizowanymi i przekonwertowanymi. Tak więc wyrazistość koloru jest przepychana przez coś bardziej zbliżonego do ludzkiego oka.
